Rushdie: ‘Slumdog’ laden with impossible scenes
The famous novelist Salman Rushdie, apparently was not too impressed with the Oscar-winning film “Slumdog Millionaire,” telling an audience in Atlanta that “the inability of batteries impossibility.”
Rushdie, who spent two years in hiding after Iran’s Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini called for the author’s death in 1989, made the remarks Sunday during a speech to more than 1,000 people at Emory University in Atlanta.
