JMS Gets Brave & Bold with Archie Gang

“Changeling” arrives in multiplexes across North America this week, CBR News checked with the fan favorite writer to see what we can expect from your next big project, folding the classic line of Archie Comics superheroes over the years forties and fifties in the fabric of the correct DC Universe in the pages of “The Brave and the Bold” next year.
“I grew up in the Archie characters, including The Fly and The Shield, which is why it will be the first to show two characters in” The brave and the bold. “The key has been investigating its origin initial stories and find ways to contemporize them without losing what made the work of the origins,” Straczynski told CBR News.

DC tried to revive both characters once before its impact on the imprint in the early 1990s, representing the red circle heroes in their own universe.
Straczynski – JMS to his fans – confirms these re-imagined heroes to be part of the DCU move, and some may even receive treatment schedule. “The goal is to really give them a leg in that process,” said JMS, which will be a guest of honor at the New York Comic With in February around the time of its first issue in the title is expected to be released. “I want to tie many of them with a villain so there is an entry point established through an antagonist.
“I’m not doing much with these arches re-submissions, only two to three points at most per character,” he added. “I like to be able to make even the casual introduction to a question. I want the new-book is easy to read.
“And once it has appeared on” The Bold and the brave ’, which can be used by the rest of the DCU books, and some of them can get their own titles. ”
